This Torino came to us from way out on the east coast for some new sheetmetal and a shiny coat of paint. It arrived looking pretty good, until we actually looked closely. We'll be replacing both front fenders, hood, decklid, doors and both quarters. It took a donor car to give up most of it's sheetmetal so we can make this Torino GT slick again.
Here's how it arrived - fairly complete and in a primer coat.

Unfortately the hood had all the typical rust around the hinges, the decklid lip was rusted through, both doors had rust on the corners, both fenders had rust and damage. The quarters had already been patched with new lower sections on both sides, but in doing so, the beltline body crease was smoothed out - it's goint to take a transplant to fix them.
A complete donor car was found and stripped of it's bolt-on parts.

We ended up replacing the previously replaced lower quarters in order to get the beltline curves back and straight. Now everything is in the bodyshop getting smooth and ready for paint.
