Something a little new for Scotlea Hot Rods - a 4x4!!  We don't usually do 4x4 jobs, but since we were asked nicely, we decided to expand our skills.  This truck was transformed from a boring truck to a serious offroad runner.  Watch this transformation...

The 74 J10 was one of the first Jeeps to come with full time all-wheel drive as standard equipment.  The Quadra-trac system is in great working order, the 360 engine runs well, and the body is pretty straight - just a little rust here and there.  

First order of business was to get this one off the ground a bit more with a 3" lift kit and bigger tires with new wheels.  After stripping the paint off and fixing the minor rust, we painted it with red and black bedliner - everywhere.  This truck will be able to handle rough brush and never get a scratch!!!  A custom roll-bar was fitted with 4 KC Daylighters, a custom rear bumper was built, and all the original lenses and aluminum trim were cleaned and reinstalled.  The interior got new carpet, bench seat cover, dash pad, and was blacked out.  Best part about this truck is everything works - and it only has 51,000 miles on it.  Time to hit the dirt !!!
