The Make-A-Wish Foundation built this General Lee to give to an unfortunate young man with cancer. The car belonged to his father, and was originally a 68 model that has been converted to a 69 model for this project. It came with a good running 383 and automatic trans - in fact, most of the mechanicals were in good shape. Glenpool Body Shop in Glenpool, Oklahoma brought the body into shape, swapped the tailpanel to a 69 unit, shaved the side markers, and painted it 75 Corvette Flame Red.
At this point Scotlea Hot Rods received the project and was tasked with the final assembly.

The finished car !!!
Scotlea Hot Rods gathered up all the donated parts (thanks to just about everyone in the Mopar parts field) and put this car together in 3 short weeks. Special thanks to our friends at Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts, LKQ Autoparts, Legendary Interiors, Mike Bond Upholstery, Safelite Autoglass, Seat Belt Planet, Kicker Car Audio, BE&A Mopar Parts, Phoenix Graphics and all the other suppliers and friends on DodgeCharger.com forums for helping round up miscellaneous parts needed to bring this project together for Justin!!

At the surprise reveal April 11th, 2014. During the Tulsa Auto Show, Justin was expecting to get his 1970 Chevy C-10 pickup - not a General Lee!!! In true Dukes fashion, the decklid was signed by everyone who helped donate parts or build the car. Glenpool Body Shop made a nice sign too.
