Yep. Tow Mater. The one from the Disney movie "CARS" & "CARS 2"

Disney made a couple of replicas (but they are not available to the public). Scotlea Hot Rods decided to build our own!

Starting with a 1955 Chevy 2-ton truck sporting a huge dump bed, we transformed this beast into the mild-mannered lovable "Tow Mater" everybody wants to have as their best friend.

Removed the dump bed and shortened the frame 3 feet!  Facial reconstruction begins with removing most of the front sheet metal...

An exact replica of Mater's bed has been constructed. It wasn't easy to go off of screen-shots and cartoon pics.

Then the facial construction began while the rusted paint scheme was being tested...

Finally, he's ready to drive (backwards usually)....

This Tow Mater replica now resides at the restored gas station on Route 66 in Galena, Kansas - right next to the truck that was the inpiration for the original Tow Mater in the Cars movies!!!
