This KITT replica started life as an 84 Pontiac Trans-Am. The interior was pretty roached (previous owner even cut the factory steering wheel to make it look like a KITT wheel).

After a full makeover, including new carpet, door panels seats - the correct PMD seats, headliner, full electronic interior (dash, overhead and armrest consoles), special steering wheel, it is way more comfortable and pleasant to be in. All the electronics light up, make sounds, blink on and off, and some of them work (sorry, no ejector seat).

The exterior was pretty straight so it received the full-on Knight Industries Two Thousand treatment with fiberlass nose housing the scanning light that makes the actual scanning sound.
